Here is your road map to every step of our photography experience. You can find everything you need to know about our booking process, next steps and what to expect leading up to + after your wedding day. We’re here for you! Reach out with questions any time.

We Connect

First, let’s set up a time to chat over the phone, or you can visit JAR Photo Studio. Your wedding day is a really big deal, and we appreciate the opportunity to get to know you before we show up to photograph it!

We can discuss custom packages for your wedding and answer any questions you may have. If we are feeling great, we’ll send over a contract for your review.

Booking Your Date

Our contract is available online and you, your partner and myself will all sign it.

After we’ve signed, you will receive an invoice to pay your retainer ($1,000 unless otherwise agreed). The retainer reserves your date and is non-refundable. You can pay with credit card or bank account using an online payment portal, or mail a check.

Once the contract is signed and retainer paid, your date is officially booked!

Final Steps

30 days before your wedding, we’ll finalize your photography coverage and you’ll receive your final invoice.

I’ll also send a Questionnaire for you to provide addresses, start times, family photo list and vendor information.

We can meet or chat on the phone to go over any last details, or you can keep me updated via email. Whatever works best for you and your wedding!

Your Wedding Day

As your photographer, I will focus on whatever matters most to you throughout the day: couple portraits, photos of details and styling, candid/documentary and posed bridal party and/or family photos.

We’ll talk this over beforehand so that all you need to do on your wedding day is be present.

You’ll receive your photos via online gallery within 6 weeks of your wedding.

Engagement

We can practice taking photos together while creating authentic images for your wedding website, invitations or to frame at home.

Boudoir

Celebrating all bodies, self love and empowerment! We can setup a respectfully intimate photoshoot in our studio or your home.

Maternity and Family

The years go by so quickly, and we love being able to see your love + family change and grow.
